Information will Spring and State Registration will be provided by your District Coordinator and the State Adviser.
In October, start planning competitions for your students.
Registration usually begins in November at the District level.
Home Site testing will take place first (most Districts in December). Home Site Testing is Computer Applications, Spreadsheet Applications, and Database Applications.
Online testing will take place next. Depending on your District, this could take place in December or January.
Within the first two weeks of February, a State Packet will be sent out over the listserv by Terri Freeny. It is up to you to keep an eye open for this information. Any student who placed in the top five for a performance event or top six for an online written test event at the District Conference, will qualify to compete at the State level in April. In District III and most Districts, if your student goes on stage to receive a certificate, then they have the "golden" ticket to State Competitions.
Registration and all materials needing to be uploaded, will have a deadline around the end of February or March 1.
State Competitions are in April and are similar to District Competitions.
